To honor the life of Theresa Winkler by supporting organizations and members of our community who are affected by diabetes.
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Established December 30th 2020 in honor of Theresa Jeanette Winkler who passed away suddenly at the young age of 57 on February 12th 2020. Theresa had been diagnosed with juvenile diabetes in her 20’s and continued to battle the disease throughout the remainder of her life. Theresa enjoyed participating in many of the events put on by JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). Today, the goal of the TJW Memorial Foundation is to raise money to support the JDRF and to keep Theresa’s memory alive through Trivia Nights and Golf Tournaments.
In 2021, we were able to raise $10,000.00 for JDRF at first event!
In 2022, we held our first Golf Tournament and our second Trivia Night. We exceeded our goal and raised $18,000.00 for JDRF
In 2023, our 3rd year as a foundation, we once again met our goal and raised $17,000.00 for JDRF
